Yeah I know for a fact that the online prices are always higher than what the dealer will quote but 92k for an F350 was enough to make me think twice, inflated #'s or not. I even get to write that off as a business expense and it would still make me sick.

Do what? I think you might typed in the wrong numbers.

I'm 30 and got my truck when I was 28.

A king ranch stickers for about 65k and you can get one close to 52k. So how you are getting your numbers is beyond me.

As it says in my post I went to the Ford.ca website, loaded up a King Ranch F350 with the options I would choose and that's the # it gave me. As I also stated, I'm sure the # is high but that is the # that came back. I just checked again and they are offering a $5500 rebate today so it's on for the low price of $86,492. I'll do my best to post the PDF copy here so you don't call me a liar.

The MSRP price includes all those options. You don't add that all in unless they are screwing people in canada. Seriously down here in Texas I can go to a Ford dealership and get one for in the 50k's.

Here is one I built at ford.com and it came out to 68k with every option you can get. http://bp3.ford.com/2012-Ford-F-350?...~F-350.DRW.%5D

Now some of the options says 0 but it comes with the truck or the package so I couldn't check them off. So how you are getting the price up to 92k I don't understand.

Well enough of my life has been wasted on this already so here is the bottom line. Prices for trucks have always been and most likely will always be higher in Canada. Also the MSRP is the base price and does NOT include any options. Maybe it's different on the US site but you get a bone stock truck at the MSRP price up here, then you add on options. Sorry to the OP for eating up so much space on your thread with this BS.

I got my truck with the X-plan, and it comes out be be about invoice price, before applying public rebates/incentives.

No need to mess with MSRP's and all that haggling nonsense!

But back to the poll, it's interesting to see most of us are considered to be in the 'older crowd' :-)
