Accelerator Pedal Creaking and Popping

Accelerator Pedal Creaking and Popping
This evening on the way home from the office I had the radio off and noticed a creaking and popping noise coming from the accelerator pedal while depressing it slowly on acceleration...I know it is DBW but have really no experience with it...I looked at it thinking there may be a small stone, dirt or mud around it but it was completely clear. I also checked the attaching hardware and all seemed tight and nothing cracked or broken. Curious if anyone has experienced this type of problem and what type of fix it took? Can I get an APP seperate from the pedal or does it all come together as a unit? It is an 05 v-10 4x4 with about 85k on the odo. Any ideas would be appreciated......Thanks....

The pedal in my 08 does the same thing. Mainly in the morning when I first start driving and then it tends to smooth out a little bit. I haven't climbed under there yet to try and solve it, but I'm guessing it's either where the pedal mounts to the pedal shaft or the fulcrum/spring area where the shaft mounts to the assembly. I'll get under there soon and throw some liquid graphite at both spots to see if it clears it up...
