Found a honey hole of vintage truck parts!

Hey guys,
I didn't know exactly where to put this but, I went to a guys house looking for truck parts and found a bunch of them! 50 to 80 trucks from the fifties through the eighties! I found the really hard to find parts that I really needed for my 78 F150! Anyway, I thought I would tell ya'll about him just in case you need a good source. . I live not to far from him and didn't think to ask him if he shipped parts but, I'm guessing he does. Just PM me and I will give you his name and phone numbers. Oh, he is in North central Arkansas . I had his name and number listed here but was advised not to do that. So just get in touch with me and I'll get you his number.

regards, Joel

Hello,
I know where Strawberry is! I'm up in Hardy. This guys place is off of Dan Ave. I think its county road 338. Give him a call he can give you better instructions. What kind of Ford do you have? I remember seeing a 78 or 79 Bronco on Craiglist that was in Strawberry.

Regards, Joel

Well you're not too far away. I have a 78 F-150 2wd factory 460. Was long wheel base until last week i shortened it. I bought a shortbed off of another guy in Jonesboro about a year ago. It's lowered just a little. Pretty well makin a weekend hot rod out of it. I nearly bought that bronco that was on craigslist but backed out on it thinking one project was already taking up all my spare time.

Is it a real good idea to post someone's phone # on a public forum?

While it is tempting to share good deals my 2¢... I wouldn't want someone else to post up my info unless I gave explicit permission to do so. If the person wants publicity then share away.

Shack could have just said if you want his phone # send me a PM. That way only the guys who are actually interested in buying stuff would see the #. But that's just my opinion.

I told him what I was doing and he is fine with it. And rather than put me on the spot publicly, you might have just just sent me a a PM about it. I know I would love to get information about a new place to get parts, so I thought others would to.

You guys aren't too far from where I pass through to visit my dad in MO. I slingshot around Walnut Ridge on 67 and see the signs for Hardy and Jonesboro. I usually make a fuel stop in Pocahontas.

If you live in Az. area there is a guy in Mesa Az. that collects and sells 75-79 ford trucks and parts for them. At one point he said he had several complete clusters and wanted 40 dollars a pop. He puts a ad on craigslist all the time. If you are interested let me know and I could get you his number

Hey JJJ do you mean that guy that calls himself Dr. Rick? To say he posts ads on cl all the time is an understatement. I have thought about taking my truck to him to get tuned. Do you know if he is as good as he thinks he is?
