How can i tell if my truck is HD?
I cant tell whether my 89 F250 is Heavy Duty or not? My guess is that it is because its a 3/4 ton truck and has heavier axles. It has a 5.8 351w, C6 trans, and 3.55 rear gears, and is 2wd.

open the drivers door and look at the vehicles max weight rating.whacha see?

Does the rear axle stick out 5 or so inches from the brake drum? If so HD, if it's flat like a car LD..
