THANKS BLADE35, I turned it over 3-4 times last night but no start(am I repeating myself? this is driving me nuts). I was leary to keep trying so I would not make the situation worse. I will do the same this evening. I can not thank all the owners enough for the help. My wife just stands there every time it won't start and says, "I told you not to buy that d!#& thing". Lord, thank you for giving me patience. God Bless to all

OK, went home at lunch, the charger had fully charged the batteries, disconnected and turned the key, WHAM it started right up. Decided to drive it back to work. Parked for 5-6 minutes. WHAM, Won't start. Oil pressure gauge goes right up, spins like a top, no start. Same codes, P0676 and P2291.

Will it start if you unplug the icp. If so replace the icp.

The P2291 is telling you that you don't have enough HPO pressure CRANKING. I'm pretty sure a bad ICP sensor won't keep it from starting but a bad IPR valve will. Pull and check the IPR valve screen and see if it's not damaged or clogged in some way. I'll bet that's your problem. If not then air test the HPO system for a leak and procede with repairs.

The beast started last night and it's at home. I was wondering about the IPR because BLADE35 had informed me about an incorrect oil filter cap,(which I had and replaced) letting unfiltered oil go through. I have soccer playoff's for my son Saturday so I guess I will start disassembling next week. Does the turbo have to be rolled out to get to the ICP and IPR?
Thanks to all who have helped me, I hope I can pay it foward to someone else 1 day.

No, the turbo doesn't have to be removed but you will need an IPR socket. there is a thread in the tech folder about that procedure on an 03 engine by William 04X.

UPDATE 1/28/12, Started on the dissassembly this morning. Going in from the top. Got everyting out of the way, started looking for the ICP and IPR. I found a 2 wire connector with the metal clip front center of the Y-pipe heat shield just where the Y connects to the turbo. It is fried back about 1 inch. Went to the NAPA store and they say the ICP has 3 wires. I can't find a 2 wire anywhere. Is NAPA wrong? I can see the connection to the part but not the part. Is it the icp and should I replace it if the pigtail is fried? SUPRISINGLY it only took 30 mins to get to this point on the engine.

That fried wire is more than Likely the culprit

the ICP is a 3 wire IIRC
IPR is a 2 wire
