I think Icon and a few other lift kit companies make an adj trac bar for the 1999-2004. I was just asking if this particular company made one for my truck!

Thumbs up

...really lots of good info here.

When I purchase my 2012 F350 in the next couple of months...I am going to install a 2.5" level lift. At that time...I will def be replacing the OEM tracking arm...with an adjustable type.

IMHO...a dual steering stabilizer setup only masks the death wooble. I prefer to eliminate it. Will still use a stabilizer...but probably OEM or Bilstein 5100 single.

Old thread but I thought I'd report:

I just bought and received my WC Motorsports Anti Wobble kit today. Very nice set up from what I can tell.

For those who asked earlier... (I know this is an out date thread) the WC kit and the Ready Lift kit are the same kit. Per a conversation I had with one of the owners of WC, they make the kits for Ready Lift.

This may be common knowledge but I thought I throw that out there anyway!

Should have the kit mounted today.

Cheers

I did eventually buy the bar for my 08, it did do what they said it would do, I would never spend that much money again especially when the Icon bar is way cheaper. It was a pain to install in my driveway, a lift is mandatory or some way to lift the front so you can get the air gun under that ball joint.

Had the wobble happen to me once. Since then, tires are kept at 70 psi all the time. Run a bilstein stabilizer. Haven'the had it happen since. Truck is 11 years old now. Can' the justify the cost of that.

I'll admit the 700 was a tough spend! It was an impulse buy as it was the only bar I could find that actually returned my track bar and drag link back to parallel. My bump steer was ridiculous. Even with a dual stabilizer the truck was no longer enjoyable to drive. Admittedly I have yet to experience the death wobble... even after a 6" lift and 35s.

I will eventually get bilsteins to replace the current stabilizer as well as all 4 shocks. After all I have spent I could have gone with one of the top lifts to begin with. Chock this up as a lesson learned!

The owners of WC Motorsports (Mike and Steve Nashawaty) actually own the patent for the press-in piece that replaces the ball joint. ReadyLift manufactures the track bar kit and are authorized to sell it.

I agree. That is why the ReadyLift fix is so important to eliminate the ball joint. An adjustable track bar will center up the axle if lifted and is usually a stronger unit. With the ball joint as the attachment point you will not fix the "wobble" issue. I do know ReadyLift makes top notch products. They are pricey, but we all know the saying.
Offer for the Ford Truck forum members.
Part numbers 77-2000 and 77-2001 I will sell at $595 delivered for simply calling and mentioning you saw the offer on this thread.

Trac bar

I just had the Baja Customs Trac-inator installed today on my 2015 F350. And I can say with out hesitation that the thing is AWESOME! Wayyyyy better steering feel! I can't speak for The Ready Lift but I wanted you to know that The Trac-inator is amazing. Good Luck!
