How to get the clutch master cylinder out of a 95 Ranger???
I am putting in a new clutch master cylinder, but first I have to get the old one out. Does anyone have a link to step by step instructions? I got the pushrod loose from the pedal, but it seems that the pushrod needs to come out of the MC so the electrical thing can be removed. Anyone have nay advise?
Thanks, Joel

The electrical thing has two small clips on it at the top on each side. Unclip them and the top will slide out upwards and the switch will pop right off. As for getting it out of the bracket I always use a pair of channel locks to grip the master and turn it to where it will go through the square hole in the mounting bracket. You want to bench bleed the master so you won't have the aggravation of the bleeding procedure if air gets in the master.

I just cut the rod as a new one is provided with the master! The biggest pia is the install of the line to the master, besure to have the O ring in place when you get the roll pin installed. In the tech files there is a link to how I found the easiset way to bleen a new master once its installed.
