swaping 360 to 460 is it possible to use the 360 engine perches i have heard you can do it with homemade solid mounts from plate steel?

 

On mine I used the 460 Econoline Isolators and cut 3x3 and 3x2 silces of Box Tubing which were drilled for the Isolators and welded to the cross members.. you could also buy the 460 mounts from LMC truck....

The 460 perches are a lot shorter , especially the drivers side .

I have a set for sale in the classifieds here . I won't be back until Saturday , but I would gladly post some pics and dimensions if that will help .

Are you running manifolds or headers ? I have a set of 74's that use donut gaskets and the 75's that use a flange on the pipe . Some car manifolds exit out behind #4 into the frame where the truck style dumps down between #3 & #4 . I can post pics of those too .
