HELP!!! Swapping a 2004 Saleen sc281 into a 2005 F150 4.6l

Here is the story. Friend of mine totaled out his 2004 SC281 has 11k miles on it. I want to pull the motor and put it in my f150. The sc281 was a 5sp car my truck is an auto. I want to keep the auto if possible. What issues do you think im am going to have doing this swap? I know i will prob need a tune. but the physical and electrical should be no different Right

This SC281 is a supercharged 4.6? 2 valve?
If so it should go right in and bolt to your auto trany.
You will need tuning and probably a better fuel pump,MAF.The injectors should be with it.

Now that I think about it,the car motor is most likely a 3Valve. But I believe it can be tuned to run properly.

Saleen s281

Saleen S281 SC - a 465 hp (347 kW) supercharged version of the S281

I was told that the SC inlet might not fit due to A/C Drier / box location im in Texas we run our A/C to christmas dinner so it stays. LOL.

So it is not a supercharged motor? SC281/ s281
If not it will bolt right in but will be better to swap the truck intake-manifold onto it!

OK,,so it is supercharged...lol I thought so.
No, you will have to fab up or rig an inlet for the opposite side.Since it is setup different then you pickup truck.
But that shouldn't be much trouble for ya.
