What tire carrier is that? And roof rack?

And you only had the 2.5" leveling kits front/rear right?

Looked very nice. How does that tire carrier mount? Looks like it is receiver based

The rack is a Surco 6ft x 4ft . The tire carrier mounts off of the receiver. It has a special piece that you tighten and the thing does not move at all. It swings open and also has a receiver on the other end too. Its from tire gate they have some for trucks too btw.

Not a problem mike.

I went through three fuel pumps and relays within the past 6 months. This last week it happend twice. Left my wife stranded with my one year old (truck shut off while driving) and sunday it happend to all of us 2 hrs from home. Dealership said it would take weeks to diagnose the problem so they gave her fuses to replace in the mean time I was livid especially since shes the hr director there. I rather have piece of mind man and we travel alot. Ive had other problems too, window broke, air broke etc....

Damn - sorry to hear that Long EL. I am going to be trading mine in soon for a newer one and watch in here to see what to look for. I was going to go back into a truck - but Expy works perfect for my family right now. I was hoping the new engines would have been put in the Expys so it would press the used prices down some (mine is pretty much done depreciating), but that did not happen. Maybe I will look at teh competitors again this time, but the Expy blew away every Sequoia, Tahoe, Suburban, Armada that I looked at as far as ride/value. Oh well - I am not in a real hurry anyway.

What did you end up getting and why - if you don't mind.

Thanks again, Mike.

mods & fellows - if ya'll want me PM'ing instead - just say. I think there is good info here though.

I'm interested in what they gave you as well.

according to the local places out here, my 2008 EL Limited is still worth almost $30,000 (low mileage with 23,800 miles)

My truck had 68k miles on it and its a limited. Had 6 tvs and all the bells and whistles. My wife (who works at the dealer) sat me down behind her computer and showed my what they were currently selling for at auction which was $16,000. There is no lie, no dealer bs this was in front of my eyes from a computer that the public does not have access too. I was luck for them to give me $18,000.

Another member from another forum has the same truck with a little less miles and was offered $14000, reason I know is bc he's in the same boat and we talked. The resale value of the expos is crap compared to those of the light and super duty trucks. Which is why I opted out of buying another one. Never again.

They definitely should have reset that before putting it in there. Definitely one awesome looking Expy.

Long EL - if you are still on this forum, I am interested to hear what vehicle you decided to get. I was not specific enough when I asked what you got before - i was questioning what vehicle, not how much you got for yours. Thanks, Mike
