need help in Inland Empire, CA

I've found a truck I really like in Inland Empire, CA. I live in AL. Does anyone live in this area that would be willing to inspect the truck for me?

I live in Murrieta. Give me the address.
I'll walk over there & check it out. I know where most of the dentsides are in Murrieta...
(My '74 F-250 won't start)

Thanks to 76f350camprspeal for checking on the truck for me and sending pictures. I'm negotiaing shipping with the owner right now. Shipping from CA to AL is expensive.

Check with dirtydeeds, see his post above. You can probably get a better rate by putting it on an existing load going that way.

VIN series code F25 = F250 2WD Pickup.

VIN engine code S = 400

VIN Assembly Plant code C = Oakville, Ontario Canada Truck Assembly Plant / All 1973/79 Crew Cabs assembled here, regardless of where they were ordered from/sold new.

Color Z = Copper Metallic.

Model F252 = F250 2WD Pickup, 7,700 lbs. Gross Vehicle Weight Rating.

Body code DUD: DU = Tan all Vinyl - Custom / D = Crew Cab.

Trans G = C6 Cruise-O-Matic.

Axle C7J: C7 = Dana 60 Rear Axle / 3.54-1 / Limited Slip / 5,300 lb. Rear Axle Capacity // J = Power Steering.

1977

DSO 74 = Seattle WA Ford District Sales Office, where the original selling dealer ordered the truck from.

No, I'm not psychic...Anthony called me a few minutes ago, asked me to decode this jazz.

The only thing I omitted was the last 6 digits of the VIN, cuz Anthony didn't give them to me...and I omitted the wheelbase cuz I forgot what Anthony told me it was.

Anthony asked specifics, I turned on the microfiche viewer, inserted the apropos slide and gave him the answers.

So, what I typed was from memory, cuz I didn't write any of this down.

I added the assembly plant Canada info, and the DSO code inre to the original dealer jazz, cuz someone might chime in asking why it was made in Canada.
