Need some help with wheel and tire shopping
Hey everyone. Ever since i installed my 2" leveling kit and 4" rear blocks in my 03 F250, the tires have been on the small side. Ive decided to keep my 265/75/R16 and stock wheels as a winter set and will be buying a new set of wheels+tires this summer to use during the summer. Ive been reading a whole bunch of articles and doing as much research as possible before making a thread here but i still would like some advice and comments. Mainly with the whole backspacing and offset thing
The wheels i am looking at are the Mickey Thompson Classic IIs in 16"x8" - Mickey Thompson Part 368170 - Classic II Alloy Wheel by Mickey Thompson
They have a -13mm offset and a 4" backspace. What does this mean? How far will they stick out past the fenders? I would like to achieve a slightly wider stance with the tires out past the fenders, but not crazy
For tires I am looking at the 315/75/R16 Cooper STTs, which are recommended for an 8-10" wheel so i should be good there. Discount Tires Cooper Tires DISCOVERER STT LT315/75R16 OWL 121Q
Basically what i want to know is what those wheels will look like with the backspace and offset, how far they will stick out and will there be any rubbing with this setup. Thanks everyone!!

My wheels are -12 offset 9" wide. They stick it out about 1" from the top of the wheel well. I wanted the same stance you described, and Im happy with the outcome. Im thinking a small lift would be better, but low on the list for now.
Here's a side view
the front is out further a bit I believe. Ive not measured it to be sure though. Maybe some smaller style flares. Be prepared the tires will make a mess out of the side of your truck when it's wet out.

that is exactly the look i want! do you have a bigger side picture you could post please?
i see you have 295/70/18s.. once you do conversions they are basically the same size as 315/75/16 and you dont have a lift, so they should fit nicely under my 2" leveling kit and 4" rear blocks. do you have any rubbing or does the offset eliminate that?
