will a 10 qt. oil pan fit in my 77f250?

Hi, I have a 77f250 "highboy" 460. I bought a used 460 out of a 73 cobbled together 4x4 . It has a 10 qt aluminum moroso oil pan and i was wondering if it will fit in my truck? It was hitting the cross member on the other truck but it had no motor mounts and it was all cobbled together.

Was wondering if with the correct motor mounts that i have it will fit and if it is worth the hassle to use it?
Also it looks like it covers the inspection plate , and may make it hard to get to the trans torque converter bolts in the truck.

It is a rebuilt engine with lots of good parts and wanted to use the pan if it will fit ok. I think it is made for these trucks, i know they do make them for em.

Thanks for any help.

I was told it was 10qt it may be an 8qt have to do some research i guess! Still the same up front were i am concerned.

Sorry rear sump. It fit in his 73 but was hitting the front , i think it was from the incorrect engine mounts.

Rear sump is what your supposed to use in the 4x4's so it should be fine.

If it still hits I wouldn't be averse to modifying the pan for the required clearance... it's only metal.
