Mirror Drama
While I have been contemplating changing mirrors for years, I finally made an effort today to actually call Ford.com and order a new set of power trailer mirrors. Just my luck, these mirrors are no longer carried and my only option from Ford.com or my local dealership is to replace my 02 small power mirrors with a manual trailer mirror. As I would like to keep my power option, what is the latest model year that I can replace my standard mirrors with the trailer mirror utilizing a straight plug and play operation without having to rewire a harness for heat and or turn signals? I have looked in many posts; however, many relate to upgrading to heat and turn signals. Looking for just a straight swap. Any information would be appreciated. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>

empiretc: Thanks for the reply but I would not like to get into changing wiring and trying to find adapters to make other years fit. I will go this route if I can’t find some good OEM replacements for what I have.
Firefighter 1406: Are they OEM and in very good condition?
LSO1123: I have been on E-bay and have found them for 80-100 dollars; however, they are not OEM and I am not sure I want to take a chance and then receive a mirror that is thin plastic with an even thinner cheap piece of glass in it.
