looking to upgrade to a holset turbo and wonder if anyone has any info on the size and style of the flange that banks used to use with that system, i dont have the time right now to take the turbo off to check it out cause im constintely driving the truck and dont have another vehicle but just by looking at with the turbo still on it looks like a smaller version of a t3 style but i could just be wrong, any info helps
My Banks kit (circa 1987) has a Rotomaster TO4B clone with a six hole outlet flange. I cant find the outlet gaskets any more, so I have to make them from high temp material. Here it is when I tore it down last year for an overhaul. Oddly, it was a gas turbo and had a carbon seal on the compressor side (commonly used only on gas installations). Later TO4Bs are metric and the early ones are standard, so I ran into bolt and nut problems.
