Difference between frames
I need to know the diference is between A 2WD 79' F100, F150, and a F250 frame.
I have 79' F100 reg. cab longbed, and Measured the just rear of the trany cross-member and it is 6 3/16" hi, 2 11/16" wide, and 3/16" thick, the distance between the frame rails is 28 3/8" inside to inside, and it has 7 crossmembers.
I would like to have someone with an 2WD F150 or a 2WD F250 post there measurments, the more post the better.

Difference between frames
There is a lot of confusion here when measuring different years, styles, and rusty rails. To avoid confusion, find a truck you want to campare and park alongside and roll the creeper out.
