takes long cranking with 1 cylinder firing.

This is on my new purchase -2000 7.3 with 300,000 miles on it.
The engine seems to be in perfect condition (after fixing few leaks) with no blowby, but when I park it for couple of days -it takes long time to start when I hear it turning over with only 1 cylinder firing, than 2nd cylinder, than 3 cylinders fire and eventually the engine starts running, but for couple of minutes the idle is pretty rough and the engine does not respond to gas pedal. There is no smoke from tailpipe. No codes.
Than the engine starts right away and it has no problem to start following day even at 30F.
My other 7.3 can sit for a month and never does that.
Any suggestions if this is something worth worry about?

I'd start by checking the oil level in the HPOP reservoir or the fuel level in the fuel bowl after it's been sitting a couple of days.

Let it sit and check the HPOP oil level

In 6 years of driving the F450 never had to touch HPOP. How do I check the oil level in it?
Lately I drive the troubled F250 every day and it starts just fine. Something happens on long term parking.

Oil level should be about an inch from the top

Did someone from this forum tipped my truck?
I had it sitting for 3 days and it started right up. It slightly hesitated for 15 seconds, but not a big deal on 300,000 miles engine.
I put synthetic oil in it and I experienced that synthetic is fixing issues on old engines, but that would be on the edge of miracle.
Not that I complain ...
