Window/Rain Deflector ??
#16
I spent about two months looking for what I thought were the "Right" deflectors. I found that the ones from Weather Tech. You see them in almost all the auto magazines. They are relatively cheap and stick very well. They go in the channel and they are low profile AND are not as intrusive into the window opening as the rest of the market's products.

I put these on last month and they are great!
My wife has the "stick-on" type on her Explorer and they are peeling off.
I had the "stick-on" type on my '97 Tahoe and 1 came off on the
hi-way. I've also been behind people that had the "stick-on" type
come off in front of me - not fun.
I ordered from Autosport catalog, I went with the dark tint.
They fit into the window channel and are very thin where the
window will slide. It takes a day or so for the window to go
up all the way - I had to manually "push" the window closed
and left it that way for a day (per the instructions) and now it
closes completely w/o a problem.

Mine are taped onto the exterior. I don't mind them, and find that htey give extra room for those who smoke, if you just crack the window and want to ash out of it. I had in channel before, and there's no just cracking the window, you don't have as much room. Look, there' snot much difference, in channel do look a little cleaner, but functionality, I like the on the top ones.
Any idea how many grass fires are started by embers out the windows of cars? We actually lost a captain last year from a grass fire we suspect was started by an ember out of a car.
