welll you are going to get alot of controversy over lift kits. On a open veiw i have herd about superlift lacking good quality latly so if you ask me stay awayfrom them. skyjacker and many other brands make awsome lifts. i plan to be puting a Dick Cepek lift soon on my rig also. as for extra parts it would be a wise idea to upgrade to exstended brake lines and replace the bushings at the same time. as for the 35s, yes they will fit but it is preaty likely that they will rub. if i where you i would just put a 6in lift on it instead. just my .02
Go with 6. You will be much happier. I have a 4 and about to change to the 6 with 35's. Buddy has this setup and it drives a heck of alot better than mine. I have ProComp and plan to stay with it. Cepeks is good, don't like the superlift setup. Skyjacker has good results. Rancho is too stiff. Good luck. We'll all know the feeling you have right now.
thanks for the reply guys i didnt know 35s would rub with a 4inch so ill probably be ordering a 6inch from skyjacker do you guys order their best kits or the ones with add a leafs or blocks i have heard add a leafs can mess up if your leaf springs are old and that blocks make for a ruff ride
Personally, I'd avoid blocks like the plague. Too easy to have them squirt out from between the axle and spring in serious off-road conditions. Add-a-leaf helper springs are better but you are right, they tend to put greater stress on the spring eyes and if your springs are older, this stress can snap them at the eyes. If you can afford it or are willing to save the money to put new spring packs under it, you will be better off in the long run.
