Good move Tim!!! Safest by far would be the B code route. I wish I and a buddy or two with EX's had the time and money to do some side by side comps of not only the B's VS F's. but also the age old question of Billstein VS Rancho's. Truthfully, the main reason that I am comfortable at this point trying the F's is that I have exchanged e-mails and phone calls with someone who did it before me, and whom I felt he was very intelligent and well studied on the subject. Unfortunately, this may be enough to entice me to take a chance, but is hardly proof enough so I'd expect a bunch of others to do it just on my word. As I said above, I think either way is an excellent choice and will be a big improvement, and in the end the results may be almost identical.

I can't believe you went there also......I went with Rancho mostly for the price. They were pretty much free.

So far they are pretty cool with the ability to adjust them.

LOLOL

Actually, I have firmly decided that absolutely and for sure, billstein makes the better quality and more durable shock... So... I also am going with the Ranchos, the 9000 xl's to be exact. After a lot of research I have decided that they will probably give me a better, smoother road ride, and besides, I want to buy the remote and play with it. What fun!

These threads made my head spin too. I ahve a 203 F350 with 9900 GVWR that handles like a dream, so I just went to the ford dealer and started ordering parts for it.

My srings just got put on yesterday, but I'm out of town so won't know how they handle until Saturday. I haven't ordered the rear springs yet but am leaning towards the regular B code ones with the 4" block.
