Those with coolant filters!!! Chaffing!

I just want to give a heads up on the coolant filters, and the hoses.

Reports are showing up that the hose from the heater to the filter base is chaffing on the CAC tube. One poster shared a picture of the rub on his CAC tube. I went and checked mine, and I do have some "black" from my hose on the CAC tube. Not nearly like I've seen. Here is a picture of where the rub takes place.

Sean I saw that you mentioned that in the other thread

Another spot where mine rubs is right where the CAC tube and the Upper Radiator hose cross by each other over on the driver side. When the coolant system builds pressure that upper radiator hose expands and rubs on the CAC Tube.

And I also saw a Chaff at the small EGR cooler deaireation hose to coolant bottle hose. This hose will bounce and rub on the marmon clamp bolt right there by the turbo charger.
This one I have to hookup and then I rotate it a turn B4 I tighten the Clamp and then that gets it out of the way of each other and dont chaff

This is what I have noticed on my 03 so I dont know if there all like this or not

Mine is almost that clean. But that particular engine bay is JAVO's.

I wipe mine down during each bath. Then use tire foam on a rag and touch things up.

I took some larger diameter rubber/hydrolic(sp) hosing and zip-tied it over the coolant line(s) where it rubs or could rub on the CAC tube.
