Motorcraft or Interstates is my vote.

 

So Costco sells Interstate batteries or did I miss something. Unfortunately I don't have a Costco around my home but do have BJ's and SAMs club. I can get Interstate batteries from my friend whom owns a shop.
Just want to be sure we are saying that when you buy a Costco battery it is a Interstate battery

 

I dont know about Costco, but I do know the interstates that Sams sells are of sub par quality when compared to other Interstates. Only SAMS club will warranty there batts.

 

I find anything from Sams or Walmart seems to be sub-par. Hears they do it this way for lower prices.

 

I've gone with the premium batteries from AutoZone...reason being, when ever one gives up the ship, they have replaced the pair. Has worked very well for me.

 

Walmart everstart MAXX batteries. 3 yr free replacement, 7 yr prorated. Just exchanged mine out for a fresh set.

 

It might depend on the Costco in your area. The one near me used to sell what they call Kirkland brand batteries but changed sometime last year to selling Interstate instead. I went in there looking for Kirkland but there wasn't one in sight so I went with Interstate and they have been great so far. Fairly new though... The previous set of batteries lasted almost 5 years on that truck (which is my wife's truck).

My truck goes through Motorcraft batteries every 2 years without fail. A pair of batteries have NEVER lasted more than 24 months going back to when the truck rolled off the assembly line. Not sure what is going on there but it is what it is and it's routine now. Go figure....

 

I am surprised at how long my current batteries have lasted. At the time I bought my current batteries from NAPA. I wasn't aware that EXIDE made them for NAPA. Had I known I probably would have bought something else. Never been a EXIDE fan. Nothing but bad luck with them when I lived in Florida.
My mechanic friend has nothing but good things to say about Interstate batteries. I will buy them from him. I'll make sure I get the 850 CCA battery

 

I bought brand new interstate megatrons two and a half years ago (850CCA). Today they gave up the ghost. Go with the motorcraft.....

 

One of my Motorcrafts failed, and it was made in 2007. I replaced mine with Deka Brand made by East Penn Battery CO. They make Caterpillar Batteries and they are very good batteries. 880 CCA and 3 years free replacement. $ 123.00 ea.

 

I just bought two from Wally World,good warranty and there's Wal Marts almost everywhere for warranty replacements..

 

I just went to CAT got their 880 cca batteries so far seem really good. I removed batteries from batteries plus they were still good but only 750 CCA wanted more power.
I didn't know that the CAT Batteries where Deka. I do alot of solar power points for equipment and in my expireience Deka batteries they're excellent.
Glad to know that is where the CAT batteries come from.

My Deka's from 08 are on there way out. I'm leaning towards the Walmart Everstart Max myself.

 

When I bought batteries for my truck, I found I could buy ALMOST two sets of batteries from napa, for one set of batteries from ford.

Considering that batteries all work the same, and most batteries are made from a few different companies, and are damn near the same except for the stickers, I think you should get the best price, best cca, and go with who offers the best warranty. For me it was Napa.

But Im the guy that doesnt care if my batteries say motorcraft on em.
