Howdy N.H. "LIKE" the title. I'm visiting EACH of our fine chapters to ask for help. Have a friend trying to complete a license plate collection for a neighbor (autistic/special needs boy). Below is a list of what he still needs. If you can help, please P.M. me for his address. ANY & ALL plates are welcome. He says the kid just likes getting the plates from anywhere. Bus, car, motorcycle, trailer, truck, whatever. Thanks to all !! I know some of you FTE folks have helped & our international chapter also has donated some .
AK, DC, ID, IA, KS, ND, OR, SC, & VT
Other plates will gladly be accepted as well.
He only has 2 Canadian plates at this point (NS and QC) so they would be greatly appreciated from our Canadian friends too, or the members from overseas even!

Just a bug in everyones ear...I mentioned this to 7283-F250 and I may pursue this with the forum.
I am the Past Commander for American Legion Post 51 Epping NH (and hopefully Commander this year). For the past couple of years we have had a car show with a 50's dance and dinner.
It has been pretty successful with more vehicles showing up each year we have done it. I am including a couple of photos.
What I think might be a good idea, since we are doing the show any way is to hold a show/rally the same day. Provided 7283-F250 is on board and okay with doing this.
I have a regularly scheduled meeting tonight with the Legion and can broach the subject. The show is later in the summer so there is plenty of time for planning should the Legion be alright with doing this.
I figure get the idea approved and then if we choose to move forward with it, things will already be in place.
Enjoy the photos!

Well the membership does not have a problem with it. Actually likes the idea of increasing the scope of the show.
Tenatively speaking the Legion intends on doing the car show on the 18th of June. Vehicles will be on display from 5-7 pm. There will be a bar-b-que (pig Roast) and live music outside.
That will be followed from 7pm to midnight with live music / 50's sock hop.
People bringing cars get in for free. All others for the dance and dinner admission is $10.00.
Catagories for awards are seperated by date (I may be a bit off) 1950 and earlier, 1975 and earlier, 1990 and earlier. Additional catagories may be added.
As I said the show has gotten bigger! The legion has about 3 acres of open area, some paved some grass.
Just something to chew on!

I you have an RV, bring it down, stay for the show, and park the RV right on site for the night. Water and electric available! I may be doing that with my 5vr!
