Serious blowby or something minor?
truck - YouTube
Today, i checked the oil and it was little low on the project I got running friday. I have put about 70 miles on it since I got it running. It has a little miss and smokes at idle. The engine is shaking so it keeps vibrating off but it only tried to lift it a little if at all. I took the crankcase tube off and it did not help. There is oil on the turbo intake side but I think it is from that tube. I should mention that I took the ccv tube off and plugged it and drove the truck pretty hard and it still smokes at idle. Oily type smoke.
I doubt all of that is from whats left of the bad fuel. I have the tank 3/4 full of fresh diesel from my normal place. My regular truck has none of that vapor out of it. I also noticed today that it looks like someone lucasd the truck as there is some slimy stuff like snot around the oil fill hole. Its not like a blown head snot but like lucas.
It cranks decent even when cold this am. I still have to pull the codes out when I can get to reader Tuesday but I am thinking it may have something a little off with it. What do u guys with a lot of knowledge think?

Why would you plug the ccv? Or are you talking just in the intake? Allowing the crankcase to still vent. Also if you do have the ccv unhooked or plugged there will be a lil more crank pressure than if it was all stock. To me the bloby doesn't look to bad. Pull the fuel filter and tell us how it looks!

After 350 miles fuel filter is still the same motorcraft white it was when i put it in. I did just plug hose going to the intake bulla just to keep from sucking something up in it and let ccv vent to air. It needed 50 cent mod so it got that and i am waiting on box with inj orings in it. Every symptom I have is indicative of that. miss, hard start, oil consumption with no leak other than i would expect fuel filter to have gotten dirty. I may see something else when I pull injectors but hopefully it will be bad orings.
