Hey guys, I'm getting ready to do a Crown Victoria front suspension swap in my 1958 F100 and it will lower the truck quite a bit so I was wondering if ya'll could post pics of your lowered trucks. I think it will be interesting to see them. Thanks.
I just wanted pre 60's because I have a 58 and I haven't seen many pictures of them lowered. If you want to post a pic of your lowered truck feel free to.
looking forward to hopefully seeing more photo's; miss my 59; will build another one soon; only difference is we call them "Orphans" not fridges. But names does mean a thing 57-60 are cool looking rides imo.
OK everybody be COOL! I'm keeping the stock ride hieght, solid axle. Only because it'll be my work truck. Which means I have to find work.
Stock is good, but I must admit that after reading so many details about the Crown Vic front end switch, I have been thinking about finding another truck to work on. I could never put my "Fridge", to the knife but if I bought another basket case just for that purpose I think I could make the transistion to the "D*******". It would only be a wild hair kind of thing for me and I would still have plenty of stock stuff to calm myself down with, but it sure looks like fun!
Just got this finished up. Just hooked up the power steering today and man is that great. Going to eventually bag the front and redo the rear bag setup and this thing will be able to drop real low.
Sorry for the crappy pics, the sun is setting and thats the best I can get right now.
