I'm gonna try and do this right but if i miss something you want to know just ask

I feel like i got a good deal on this truck. The bed is kinda rough but this truck is super clean

Here are pictures so far

When i brought it home
<a href="http://s294.photobucket.com/albums/mm119/jake21279/?action=view&amp;current=006.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/mm119/jake21279/006.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
And now
<a href="http://s294.photobucket.com/albums/mm119/jake21279/?action=view&amp;current=005-1.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/mm119/jake21279/005-1.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
<a href="http://s294.photobucket.com/albums/mm119/jake21279/?action=view&amp;current=002-1.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/mm119/jake21279/002-1.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
<a href="http://s294.photobucket.com/albums/mm119/jake21279/?action=view&amp;current=004-1.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/mm119/jake21279/004-1.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
<a href="http://s294.photobucket.com/albums/mm119/jake21279/?action=view&amp;current=006-1.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/mm119/jake21279/006-1.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
<a href="http://s294.photobucket.com/albums/mm119/jake21279/?action=view&amp;current=007-1.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/mm119/jake21279/007-1.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

And here is me with it sorry i don't look more excited but man i feel like crap
<a href="http://s294.photobucket.com/albums/mm119/jake21279/?action=view&amp;current=008-1.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/mm119/jake21279/008-1.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

So there's the start it will be a long so process, But with a little at a time i will have a nice truck

Some of the things i want to do are:

Fix bed
New stereo and speakers
Lift and tires
Either a lighted visor or cab lights
CB i have to have this lol (trucker thing)
Toolbox with i have already
Headache rack
Tint windows

I'm sure there will be more. I will do my best to post pics of every little thing i do if you all wanna see them.

Thanks and i hope ya'll enjoy

Sounds like a fun lineup of goodies you have on the way!

Hey -- would you (or anybody you know) be interested in a set of 15x10 steel wagon wheels that fit a 1/2 ton Ford? They could use a coat of paint but otherwise they're in good shape. Looks like they cost around $100/ea new. I'd like to get $200 for this set of four....?

Sounds good. I'm in no hurry to sell them but I thought if you needed 'em for some reason I'd let em go.

Lookin forward to pics of your lift. Don't forget the obligatory before and after pics

So i havent chimed in yet because these newer trucks are not really my style but this is something i can attest to. Those shock boots are worthless. I know your thoughts are about the looks and trying to keep the shocks clean but the boots do absolutly the opposite. The boots trap water and cause premature failure of the shock. Do what you will but thats just something ive learned over the years.

Well another little update

I got my new bed on today, sorry i ain't got no pics, I done it at a friends house and when i got back here it was almost dark, I did stop by car wash and spray frame off real good never got it painted but later on it will get it.

One reason i never painted it was, its gonna need a spring hanger, and i figured i'd just wait until i get it to do the frame right

So there ya go, i haven't had no time lol, i been workin 12 hr days and 6 days week, i promise ill have some pics next time when ever that might be

Take Care, Jake
