well changed the motormounts and tranny mount today.... that had to be the biggest pain in the a**.... the passenger side wasnt bad but the drivers???? holy hanna lol

decided to do the tranny mount at the same time and good thing too.... it was the worst of the three...

it now shifts the way it should with the shift kit in it. firm but no BANG shifting. ill drive it for the week then decide if i want to keep the shift kit in it or not

passenger motor mount

tranny mount....

very cool, and that would look good on your truck, any idea how the truck in the picture you show had the grill made? I kinda like that and want to at least try it, I assume its a billit (name?) grill with a stock XL grill mated together?

on my old 92 f150 i too the factory grille and cut the center out and mounted it over one of the ebay grilles (had to trim the edged of the billit grill for it to fit right.

im not sure how he mounted the billit grill behind the one in the pic tho it would have to be back farther...

well that might actually look nice on my truck, not sure tho...I would have to size it and would love to see how they did there grill so i could try to duplicate that with some test mock ups...and I would want to color match the black on my grill to the body paint and keep the chrome as is, edge wise tho...

thats most likely how I was gonna do mine if I decide to do this, with a 302 emblem on it too...or the classic V8 emblem...

well i grabbed a handle out of a 2000f150 for ther pillar and a handle from a 98 contour for above the door.

after looking into it and measuring and stuff i decided the pillar ones wouldnt work for me so i installed the contour oned above the door. i used rivet style "nuts" if you want to call them that. the handle is nice n sturdy. i spaced it out with a 1/2" nut so it didnt pull into the headliner

kindof a blurry picture of the rivet nut but oh well lol

and the finished product

Tremclad is the Canadian version of Rustoleum. Didn't turn out too bad.

People actually do roll on paint jobs with that stuff:

moparts: paint job on a budget!?
