1973-1979 Ford Cummins motor mount pics

If you've done a Cummins swap into a 1973-1979 Ford please post pics of your motor mounts. I'm hoping the mods will make this a sticky for future reference. Here's mine.

Bump. I'm interested in seeing all these. Been searching the site for this, as I'm considering the 4Bt.

Hey higbean, what did you get the bushings and what size did you go with? Your mounts look sweet!

I bought a kit for a 78 Ford leaf spring bushings. Turns out Crew Cabs are different. If I did it again I'd call WFO Concepts and get a set from them. The t case mounts I got from them are real nice.

To be a little clearer, I used the leaf spring bushings for a 78 Ford F-250. Couldn't use them because I have a Crew and had to fab custom ones. I have found that when specifying dimensions to Prothane or Energy Suspensions they aren't gonna help. They don't care if it's 3.5" x 2.75". They wanna know what car it's for. Kind of a pita.

I had considered using poly on mine but figured they'd beat me to death with the rattle, so I kept the stock dodge 2nd gen ones.

Here's mine. Sorry about the poor pics - they don't show a ton.
The dimple dies in the things allow me to get to the bolts. They use the stock bolt holes in the frame.

I know. I had my buddies shop copy mine for Cheet-o & asked them to make a fixture off mine but they didn't have time. I've said that IF my motor comes out of the truck again I'll fixture them to sell. If not, well...

I made my original ones off cardboard templates. When we made Cheet-o's I put those templates into cad so I can have them cut again whenever I want. So the fixture is the last part of the puzzle.

1 thing to realize though is my motor mounts are for the "highboy" trucks only as the frame widths are different on the 2wds or 78/79 4wd trucks.

Here's a couple pics of the mounts for Cheet-o

Chasetruck, does that mean you could/would make a set and sell them? I have been thinking of welding up a set that horizontal set that sits on top of the frame of my 76 F250 4x4. They look like the simplest to build and I've been told that the fordcummins mounts are horizontal.
With that said, "boy, you got a pretty mount"

Not going to make a set at this point. IF (big if) my motor comes out of the truck again for a bit then I will fixture the things & copy them. As of right now it's a long shot though.

I do have the files in cad so I can have them cut. What I do not have is a fixture to put the plates in after they are cut to weld to make sure the holes & everything else end up in the right spots.
