You can run your VIN on Ford's website to see if it hasn't been done. If it doesn't show up, it may have already been done. Not sure how to tell if it has.

I just called the dealer myself; taking it in tomorrow to get it fixed. The guy said it would only take about 45 seconds if it only needs the wiring harness, 30-45 minutes if he has to change the sensor too.

All they do is unplug the wiring harness off the electrical connector on the brake master cylinder. They look into the switch to see if it is seeping fluid. If it is they replace it, if not they just install a short wiring harness that includes a fusible link between the switch and the chassis wiring harness and secure it with a tywrap.

I watched the dealer do it on my F-150. They did it in the parking lot and the only tool he used was a pair of cutters to cut off the tail of the tywrap. It seriously takes longer to push the paperwork than it does to do the recall.

To tell whether or not it has been done to your truck, just pop the hood and see if there is a wiring harness with a fuse in it coiled up near the master brake cylinder. If there is, it has been done already and you're good to go.

because this was mentioned earlier, I asked about the CC and he said it was related but I didn't get any further on the subject. So I really don't know either way.

I am guessing your switch may have been bad, and they replaced it? Or is it possible that you had the switch unplugged and now it is plugged in?
