My ultra low budget 6.0 coolant filter
#16
I am currently looking at a "budget" coolant filtration option myself. I noticed my delta was about 10F running 70mph unloaded (with AC on) with a 2k old oil cooler. It's almost new still. I fear that the new oil cooler is already starting to clog up with old crud from the cooling system. If there is a decent, low cost option to help slow this unfortunate clogging, it would be better than nothing.

GE, Household Replacement Filters (2-Pack), FXWSC at The Home Depot - Mobile
I went with stainless housing for longevity and a bit of space savings. Also less Oaky looking.
