Can anyone recommend a good diesel mechanic in East TN??? The Johnson City, Kingsport, Bristol area. I really don't want to go to the dealer. I need help fast!

 

I live in knoxville but do not know any diesel mechanics here and would not recomend the dealer i bought truck from . What is wrong with the truck ? I try to do all my own repairs.

 

The big issue today was no oil pressure (at least according to the stock gauge) at idle. Thankfully it turned out to be just the oil pressure sending unit. Today's problem solved and it only cost me $31!

Scott is active (or was in years past) on Powerstroke.org. Very good guy (he was a Tech at a dealership for a number of years and went independent) and good staff at the shop.
