Grill Removal & Headlight Replacement How-To

I had a hell of a time getting the bottom grill spring clips released because the 2012 Owner's Manual says to release them by going in from below. This worked with older F250s but not the newer ones. You have to go in from the top or side of the grill to release the spring clips.

I did a How-To for grill removal and headlight bulb replacement.
The How-To can be found here: F250 Grill

Nice

I've always gone from the top myself. A flathead screwdriver and 10mm? Socket and I'm good to go with removal in <5 minutes

On my 2011, i replaced the lights without removing the grill, the right side was pretty easy to get to, the left side was a bit trickier but i easily removed the airbox/coolant resivor out of the way and i was able to get my hand down there and replace the bulb. I had the whole job done in ten minutes.

Ryan, do you mind if I put your post on the how-to page?

Thanks Ryan, I put it in as a note so people can give it a try before removing the grill.

No problem! Removing the grille seemed asinine to me, espically just to replace a bulb. Really Ford?????? I was determined to find another way and it was a little tight with my big arms but i was able to reach it. I'd imagine someone with smaller arms would have little issues.
