well my understanding on this subject is this, if you have a proper projector lens (the after market ones for our trucks are kinda borderline fuggly) designed for HID lamps (bulbs) they should perform better, assuming they are properly aimed...
I also say none of them. The optics are incorrect for that. Everytime I see someone with aftermarket HIDs in oncoming traffic I want to shoot the lights out. I don't even like factory HID.

Correct. the stock housings do NOT have the correct reflectors to run HIDs, therefor the light is scattered and blinds oncoming drivers
Technically you should add projectors to your headlights or get projector lenses off ebay... Here is where I would go for HIDs though. Top notch quality.
Every day I go to work I see a bronco with some 8000k HIDs that blind the hell out of me. Whenever I drive my truck to work I think ill give him a look at my Bi-Xenon MH1s
