6.9L / 7.3L Journal Sizes and Oil Clearances
Can any one tell me if these specifications for the 7.3L IDI are the same as the 6.9L IDI (taken from the 1992 Ford Service CD)?
Unfortunately, I do not have a manual for the 6.9 yet. Trying to measure the crank to know if it's good or if it needs to be sent out.
Any help appreciated...

From everything i have heard, the 6.9 and 7.3 are identical bottom ends. I say that yes that is accurate. Also fwiw, the factory tolerances apparently didnt mean squat to IH. Its very worth having the crank polished or turned and some new bearings. A balance is a big big plus. When our 92 was balanced, the difference is unbelievable.
