Good find Rick.
You could get a new 7.3 from Clay and still be ahead of the eight ball with that price.

Interior is good, lots o dents n dings, engine is very clean for 211K. New turbo, probably would of been cheaper to go with a gtp38r. Lovin the rubber floor and floor shifter for the 4X4. Get a cheap rebuild kit,fix it n sell it for 12K. Heck of a deal.

Oh man, if I had the money and garage space, I'd buy that puppy and do a 4x4 transplant into my truck, then part out the rest.

Yeah, i'm buying a whole truck minus engine, wiring harness, and dashboard to do a 4x4 swap on mine.

Getting the truck for less than 2000, and it's local.

I don't have a garage, so I'm going to be calling friends to strip it in a weekend and junk what I don't think I can sell.

But I'm getting nerf bars, new windshield (mine is cracked), sliding back glass, power windows, locks, and mirrors, as well as a limited slip rear axle (mine is open) and front axle/suspension all for my truck. As well as a good bed/tailgate that I can sell, bumpers, automatic trans, and a few other misc parts that I'll be able to unload quickly. Just renting a storage locker to keep everything in while it's on craigslist.

I would have rather bought THIS one for a bit more and put my engine in it, but colorado is too far away.... ah well.

You do know you'll need the 4x4 trans for your truck, right?

yeah, yeah.... I know. This is why I have been scrambling to find one. I can most likely get one for under 750 bucks and then sell mine for several hundred, so I'm not worried about it money-wise.

It's just going to take a while to track down a used one. I figure I can swap the front axle and interior bits and then wait until I find a trans to "hook up" the driveline.

-Looks like it sold for $3660.00, still not too bad even if it needs a motor...

Yeah, I would have REALLY considered it if it was a bit closer.

If it had a real transmission I probably would have bought it and gone to get it. Them things are NOT easy to find in good shape.
