FORD lift kits install
Does anbody know of A FORD dealership in the DFW area that will put A lift kit on and not cry WARRANTY VOID ?
I went to Sam Packs Ford in Lewisville where I bought A 2012 F250 SD and the service mgr. is pretty much saying it will void the warranty because of the bigger tires associated with A 5" lift. Claims it puts to much strain on the drive train..I asked what A travel trailer does to one and got A blank stare ?
Thanks for any help..

Man.. Talk about buyers remorse !
I should have kept my 06 King Ranch dually.. Had 74,000 on it with zero problems but was terrified of the 06 problems to come at 100,000
I remember back in the day when I bought A new 76 Silverado and the first thing you did was run dual exhaust w/glasspacks. You could do anything you wanted to to your truck and A warranty was A warranty !
You go out and pay almost 60,000 for A truck and I'm afraid to add a cup holder !
I personally think it's A bunch of BS !

take your risks as you see fit
I voided the warranty on my 2006 F-150 and 2009 Mustang within 1,000 miles. On Mustang it was the entire drivetrain (motor/trans/axle). Truck was front suspension components.
Remember that Ford can only void the warranty on specific items if you do lift it. Not the entire warranty.
so if you were to blow the transmission out, that'd be out of your pocket. But say the motor swallowed a glow plug and you needed a whole new longblock. That would be 100% covered by warranty. Moss/Magnusson Act. Read it and love it!
