Thank you for letting me join, I hope I don't disapoint ya!
Been owner of a ford Bronco since I bought a '76 fpr 2500 in 1993. I still own that and have had no less then 12 since. ( and a few wannabes) Currently driving a '91 Silver anniversary, awesome ride! Bought it after crashing my '89 in a head on with a pontiac (June 16 2010) It's gone. well most of it lol! I saved lots of parts from it to use on the '91 like the engine, built by myself from the bottom up with a .040 overbore, flattop pistons, micropolished crank, and Crane Cams lumpy stick. Have replaced almost all of the sensors at the time, has been a good running mill and is not afraid of the rev limiter! E40D trans was not playing nice so it's sitting beside the garage hid by a 5 gallon bucket. In it's place went a M5 manual trans with a used factory clutch and all parts from a donor F150, a bronco, and some F250 parts. E-shift transfer cases IMO are a pain so I didn't bother to put it back in, went with a BW 1356 manual shift instead. Then, not needing the switch on the dash anymore, nor the holes drilled by POs, I installed a dash from a '90 bronco. Rear axle was the 8.8, and was giving me fits so it left in favor of the ford 9 inch from a '80 bronco that I parted out. Bumpers are built by me and are sealed and tested to 150 psi as tanks for On Board Air kit, and use recievers front and rear for pushing/pulling trailers around, also for mounting a Warn xi8000 winch on a cradle, with Bulldog ind connector front and rear.
This bronco pulls a 24' trailer with no problems, only slower when it has 10 tons of firewood or scrap steel loaded on it! I still have alot of work to do on it... $ pending.

I already checked out your albums, I was just hoping you had some more truck-****

I have all sorts of pictures of my trucks, I'm just too lazy to put them into any albums. I post them periodically throughout the "show off your pre-1997" thread, and in the Nebraska B/S thread once in a while.

EDIT: Well I updated my garage for ya, and even threw in a few pics of my 95 in an album. Still can't figure out how to get a photo for my garage... F'n PITA!

I forget what the cam numbers were, but they wern't much over the stock figures, had some help from the tec support at Crane and Summit, if I'm remembering correct it is the same as came in early(pre 75) 302 powered midsize cars. I did forget to mention the smog pump is gone, Bought pump eliminator pulley kit from summit, and there is no cat, no mufflers or glasspacks either! My driverside header got flattened so I am running the stock ex manifolds into an X-pipe with the lone O2 sensor plumbed into it there. Had problems with the HEGO so went back to the 89 EGO sensor. Only error code at the moment has to do with the fact my speedo gear is stripped off and have no speedo, no cruise control, and no vss signal! Got some new gears from Ford dealer, just have to get them in before I get a ticket!

I'm currently trying to find a reasonably priced 4bt cummins, or an easy way to swap in my 89 351w into my pickup... I know the m5r2 will handle the 4bt, but the 351w is kind of untested waters. Everybody says "don't do it, it won't hold up!", but I can't find any instances where they actually grenade'd an m5r2. either... Mostly looks like fluid loss gets them, and they catch a really bad rap because of the weaker mazda units in the early rangers/explorers..

the M5 in my bronco has taken a surprising amount of abuse, to date. Had to replace the pins which the shift lever pivots on cause they broke.(made for a long drive home in 3rd gear) Would like to have a ZF behind my 5.8 when I get it built but I am sure under moderate play the M5 would hold up for awhile.

Great to see you stop in FourXFord2! Hey, can you do us a favor, and create a signature, with your fist name in it, so we know who we're chatting with? Brandon, you should PM him that Craigslist ad you sent me, with the two ZF's that guys was selling!

Sorry, I haven't figured out the signature thing yet, only get a few minuets every so often to play with my puter. Have a million things needing done and pennies to do them with. I might need a nerd to make me one, maybe my kid can do something for me.
