1991 ford f150 steering issue

On my 91' f150 xlt lariat, it has the 2.5 inch leveling kit, and is on some bald 32's, My question is how come the steering doesnt correct all the way, it goes to about the last half turn then you have to manually correct it. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

more than likely you need your alignment checked and adjusted. i believe this would be caused by the castor being off. however with 2.5 inches of lift in the front i would say that the adjustment of your castor/ camber bushings may be limited as they are probably set more to adjust the camber issue

Could a seized upper/lower ball joint cause this problem as well?

I would think if that was the case the steering would be difficult all the time.... Not sure though

The steering is fine as can be until that last half turn like i said earlier, so im sure that it just needs the alignment like you stated, truck hasn't been able to get a sticker for awhile so im working on it so i can get it on the road.

Also something else to think about, if it sat for a while the steering gearbox can get stiff (sticky) or if someone ever adjusted the screw ontop of the steering box too tight. Just some other ideas for you
