Oops!

So went off-roading tonight had fun bent the dang plow mount in some mud. Also went through some water not deep at all but now my engine temp light comes on an flickers no loss of power don't seem to be running hot at all figure I just knocked the sensor loose. Sorry for the rant but it was fun love having that lever on the floor.

Nice, just an fyi if you ever get into a situation where you think the tranny is blown, the transfercase might have popped out. My lever on the floor popped out when mudding running. all it is a codder pin holding it on. just an fyi if you understand what im saying

Ive never hit the mud in my truck but me and a buddy of mine built a mud truck and it had a bunch of over heating problems. i suggest powerwash the mud off the front and check for mud lodged up around your radiator and motor. Mud can bake from heat and make it a pain to get off.

I was mud running one day, then as im going through a decent sized puddle i heard a "POW" and now more motion. well after i got my uncle to pull me out with his ford raptor (boy that thing had problems) so after i calmed down for a couple of days i washed her down and looked it over to see the damage.turns out the coder pin got rusted out and I remember hitting a rut and then it popping out. So i had enough momentum to pop the transfercase in between gears then make me really angry and want to light my truck on fire. Let me know if you need pictures of it. I have it parked out by grandmas until i can afford to replace Hpop o-rings.

I second Lees suggestion. the best thing you can do after mudrunning is pressure washing every nook and cranny on the truck. you might have got some mudd in a loose connection.

You have two temp sensors one for the light and one for the gauge. Both or by the top of the water pump. To the top pass. side is the one for the light. The one to the drive side is for the gauge.

I pulled the sensor wires mud got up in it cleaned it out put alittle bit of grease back to new. I use to use the self serve here in town with my old truck but I was politely asked not to come back or the cops would be called guess they only wanted clean cars to come use there stuff.

You should send them a letter telling them that your gladdly use a compettetors wash stations and that you will tell all of your friends to do the same. That's bs thought how they don't want you back.

Ever heard of discrimation? Like Rodney, tell him to F himself and keep going back. Kyle, I wonder what 'charge' the cops could use when you pay for a service offered to the public? Back to my first sentence.
