Fork rides on the T/O bearing collar. Clutch adjusting rod attaches to the equalizer (Z) bar...then to fork.
The rod uses a plain 'ol 3/8" -24 adjusting nut and this: 351062-S8 .. 3/8" -24 1/2" thick convex adjusting nut that fits into the hole on the forks backside.
IMO, peeps that own these old rolling piles of misery should have the apropos parts catalog. It's the first thing y'all should buy after dragging/towing/pushing/driving the pile of misery home.
With 4,941 pages of text, 1,961 pages of illustrations, you'll never have to ask to see a pic again = 1964/72 truck CD catalog is 22 buckaroo's.
Post #2: I listed the parts catalog illustration section/page number of the whole enchilada. Maybe one of the FEW (sigh) peeps that has this catalog on a CD...will see the reference, scan & post the pic.

It should be pretty straight forward. The trans bolts to the bellhousing. The trans has an input shaft that the throwout bearing rides on. The shift fork moves the TOB into the clutch fingers. Im not sure beyond that what you are asking about. Here is a pic of the bellhousing with the shift fork in place in it.
Dont know if this will help. Hope it does.

Ill take a look at what I have for that ap when I get home from work tonight. Ill get some pics up. It should be pretty straight forward if I recall the TOB has a large side that goes to the clutch or motor side and a channel on the backside of the bearing face that the fork fits into. I should have it and Ill post up a pic.
Here are some pics of TOB and SF in the position that they would be installed.
The large bearing face goes toward the pressure plate and clutch. The fork rides on the side facing the trans.
