North Carolina Citizens Militia

Just wondering if any of you were involved in the North Carolina Citizens Militia?

North Carolina Citizen Militia

I just wanted to see if any of the members were in the NCCM.

Let me know! And if you want to join up, that's cool too!

Sounds great to me, but I'll be moving back to Oregon soon.

Oregon has a state Militia, too.

By law, every state does have an "Unorganized" Militia. They are legal, thanks to the United States Constitution.

How'd you like that icy drive to work this morning Nacoma? My entire street out to the highway was solid ice at 9am on the way to work...

Active well I was involved and organized the largest meeting they every had in NC. We had a large crowd of 28 people show up from all across the state. I was told what I was doing was the right thing, and then the leader of the NCCM sent a rep and an FBI agent to the meeting. The rep said that the NCCM does not support what I was doing, and planning. All i was planning was to lease a 1000 acre tract of land for members to bug out too. i had the land and the people lined up to help lease this land. The NCCM and The NC Ranger Corps are a joke. neither group would do any training unless it was inside a restaurant. I gave up on both of them. When the idea of training with airsoft or paintball came up you would have thought the world had came to an end. I feel like it is sad that Nc has 1 person holding the Militia hostage so he can pad his pockets off of it. The militia is not owned by any 1 person in this state or any other state.

Well - sounds as though a REAL militia needs to be formed ...
Personally; I am tired of the keyboard militants who would starve in the woods without a matchbook or a can opener

Same here but the NCCM has scared off most who would even want to join a militia, and if you buck them you will get a nice visit or some real funny emails. The NC Ranger Corps split from the NCCM and was supposed to be the answer to the NCCM but it has failed also.
I do agree witht he supposed leader of the NCCM it is hard to find reliable people, and most ARE keyboard commandos with their high dollar sks rifle and 100 rds of ammo.
I have quit trying, and instead focused on creating a mag cause when we finally do collapse the mag is what will work best.

don't know what to say ... everyone has a life outside of a militia type group ... requires build events and activities to stabilize the groups foundation - its a numbers game ... recruit 1,000 and get 1 or 2 good ones and recruit 1,000 and get 1 or 2 more

Another thing to do is aline with a group like oathkeepers.org

What's the point if it's unorganized?

Some of my friends know real well that if something were to happen we would converge on one person or an others property and be ready to hold our ground and forge a plan from that point forward.

usually people who have firearms are associated with others who do as well.
... sort of like a classic car owner knows other classic car owners
... fire arms are our classic of choice

unless you are like me ... and loud classics and louder firearms are both a thrill
