I'm not sure what it is, the truck in these clip's isn't mine. I've got a 2011 FX4 Supercab 5.0L...My trucks quick for a big 4X4 but I don't think I could hang with these ultra fast little modded 2wheelers in the 1/4 mile ...But if I find out what the guy is running on his truck, I'll be sure and post it back up for you.

Boss50, I'm curious about your suspension mods. Is your truck lowered, if so how much and what kit? Also, what traction bar setup do you have on your truck? Thanks in advance.

My truck is lowered 3"&5". The front is bell tech#25001 struts, the back is a 2" lowering shackle and 1leaf spring removed.because of the soft rear after lowering,I needed to install the Lakewood bars #21715 to stop wheel hop.

Tell me about this intake plenum??? It doesn't look like the one on my '11 5.0L F-150. How much and what’s involved with installing it, does it bump the power any, improve mileage, sound etc

That is the BOSS 302 intake manifold. Its a direct swap, with some minor hose relocation im sure. Its a common swap for the guys with GT mustangs. You will loose some tq below 3000 rpm with it, but will make substantial ganes higher in the Revs.

Not much to tell...factory Boss 302 intake, about 375 bucks thru many online Ford parts dealers, with no other mods - little less hp/torque down low and little more upper end. Add CAI, tune, headers and good exhaust you will see much improvement...not dealer friendly for drivetrain warranty. If you were to do it, go all the way and go supercharger too. 500-600 hp easy...read any 5.0 Mustang magazine...

Latemodelrestoration.com has them for $445 with a custom tune (although it be for a Mustang). Ford Racing Performance Parts (PN M-9424-M50BR) has them for $425 and ran a special 2 months ago for $50 off, these do not include throttle body which is about $630 alone. Steeda has the intake, CAI, and tune for a Mustang for about $1200. Check around to find specials..Tasca parts, FRPP and other Mustang sites for monthly specials and online discount codes.
