I have a 1968 ford ranger lwb, and it has a five on five and a half lug pattern and i am having a hard time finding custom wheels. my question is can i replace the front spindles, and the rear axles to a five on four and a half without major cash. if so what type of rear end and front spindles
You can replace the rear axles with no problems, I do not know about the front. The thing is, you have that bolt pattern for strength. The wider bolt pattern is not needed on the Mustangs and BII/Ranger, that is why they have them.
This is a timely topic, (I may have to change-long, sad story).
Yes there are several suppliers, Billet Specialities has scads, American has almost none, Centerline, almost none, but there are choices out there. My .02 -Don't look on E Bay for something that is in the aftermarket.
