2wd to 4x4 93 F-250

so im thinking about converting my truck (93 f250) over from a 2wd with a E4OD to 4x4 with a 4 speed, how hard is it to do that i had to buy a new engine for my truck so i just bought a truck for the engine , but the body on the other truck is in alot worse shape then my current truck but i want 4x4 which the other truck has. also the other truck has a 8 inch lift on it is that something that could be transfered over when i do the 4x4 conversion?

Agree with tec on this one. Easier and cheaper to find a 4x4 and start from there.

Way easier to swap the body, which can be done in a long weekend, but you will have to burn some midnight oil.

I'm with star on this one. Swap the bodies. It would be easier, quicker and likely less expensive.

This is assuming the frame and axles are good on the other truck.

Me third. Unless you are real sure of your abilities, just getting the holes drilled in the right places in the front frame can kill the project. The body swap is alot easier I swapped the body out on my Bronco by myself in a 3 day weekend sucks when all your buddies dissappear).
