2012 F150 Super Crew- Power Fold Trailering Mirrors?

I just received my new 2012 F150 Super Crew Lariat, max payload, and max tow!!!!!!!!!!!!!AWSOME...............

One problem............could not get power fold trailering mirrors from factory............non trailering mirrors are power fold..............

Can anyone help me in finding out how I can replace these manual ones with a power fold style? It looks like the mirrors on the F250 are identical but they power fold......

It is my understanding that they didn't make the tow mirrors with power fold for 2011. Not sure if they changed that for 2012.

Tasca parts has had some great deals on towing mirrors lately. I suggest you check with them to see if they make power fold ones now.

I'll check....thanks.

I test drove the 2011 F250 and they had the power fold, power teloscopic, power everything!!!!!!!

They look like the exact same mirror on the outside to me. I can not see any reason for Ford to have not made this an option.........since the non trailering mirror is power fold!!!! uh...excuse me but wouldn't a mirror 8.5" wider overall need power fold even more?

NOT HAPPY WITH FORD ON THIS ONE!

Maybe it's Fords way to get you to go up to a Super Duty. But you do have to pay for the power fold, it's not standard. It is a great option and will not buy any truck without them again.

Yeh, I wasn't happy during the build but the 250 was a lot more $$$ and overkill for me.

BUT

I did not think of the width of the truck going into my garage!!!!!!!!!!!! Talk about tight!!

Now looking into new wider gagage door............bumber!!!!!!!!!!!

Still would like to find a power fold retrofit option!

I don't see why the 250 mirrors would not fit, don't think they would be cheap though.

I am very new to ford......1st one ever! and do not have any background on their trucks. I would believe that the wiring is all there as it is a fully loaded lariat, but not sure on the control switch for the pwr fold either. I have a cust service request in to ford but no information as of yet.

I have the feeling i would have to get the mirrors, the correct switch and a door inner lining that has the switch cutout......as i do not see any spot that they would have put a switch.

The power folding switch is in the mirror control. Just pull the **** down to fold and unfold. But there is a different switch to extend them out.

The f150 did not have the mirror folding option but the f250 super duty did. My folding mirrors work great esp when parking in my garage. I also installed a forwarding looking back up sensor system to assist in parking in my tight garage.
