As the others have said, welcome to FTE.

I've moved your thread to the EcoBoost forum where you should get some answers.

I've only had my Ecoboost for a couple weeks but so far I'm extremely happy with it. Mixed driving I've been averaging 18+ mpg and on longer trips I've been about 20 mpg. The trip that impressed me the most was my hunting trip in Jackman,ME....anybody who's been there knows how hilly it is...it was freezing rain that day as well...not only did the new F150 handle it great but it also got 19.4 mpg for the trip.

No problems yet but given the fact I haven't used mine much I'll have to let others answer that question for you. Welcome

PS. Don't let the Super Nothin' guys get to you....they are just jealous that you get over 15 mpg and your truck rides well.

Welcome Joe and congrats on your purchase!

I've had mine since July of 2011 and I have 7100 trouble free miles of blissful driving. I'm averaging 17.5-19.5 mixed and 22+ on the highway. I do however h ave the 3.31 axles on a 4x4 XLT.

I've noticed that the colder it is, the worse the Ecoboost average mileage is. As it warms up a little, the average mpg's seem to return to normal.

I have a XLT w/3.55's. I'm just under 10,000 miles. My overall ave is 17.6 mpg. The mileage is usually similar to Tim's above. My best was on a trip to central PA, 20.5 averaging around 70-72 mph. I had the first oil change at 5,ooo miles and it seemed the mileage went down 1-2 mpg. I log every tank.
I also took a trip towards Moosehead Lake, Maine 500 miles one way towing 2 quads and got low 15's on the trip. No issues still love the truck.
It does seem the mileage is effected a litlle bit by some things: temp,wind...
