1969 f250 Camper Special Front Disc Brake Conversion
Hello,
I just bought a 1969 f-250 Camper Special. I would like to do a front disc brake conversion or front and rear conversion to modernize the breaking since my daughter will be given the truck. Does anyone know of any company that has this type of conversion kit?
I'd really appreciate any help I can get!
Thanks in advance!
Mark

There really aren't any kits for F-250's. Scarebird does F-100's. You do know that 67-72 F-250's had optional disc brakes. Best would be to visit a JY and get the entire I-beams and disc brake MC and power booster, and all the little pieces needed from 67-79 F-250's. Or look close at home for a donor truck to part out. With the complete I-beams, you can refurbish them and have a complete new front end.
Don't worry about disc rear brakes until you have the front done correctly.
