My 2005 Expedition had a misfire at #6. I replaced all the plugs and the COP at #6. I went to crank it and it acted like the battery was dead, but a second try minutes later and it started right up. I still had the misfire so I went back to work on #6 and this time when I cranked it up I started like a carb. system rather than fuel injected but did finally start, but I still had a misfire. The next day I switched injectors 5 and 6. This time when I went to start it nothing. It will turn over a couple of times then just "click". This time however I lost power to the radio and gauges. I unhooked the neg cable and re hooked and all the gauges and radio worked fine until I again tried to start it with no luck and gauges and radio went out again. Any ideas?

 

Have the battery tested.

 

Right, bad battery or bad battery connections.

 

thanks...it was the battery. I am now moving on to the rough idle problem.
