I think it would be easier to ask me where i DONT want to eat!! Its hard for me to narrow it down to one place. The Chinese buffets here in town are tough to pass up. But there is one place I will no longer go to cuz its sooo bad. And that would be the Old Country Buffet in Lynnwood. The last time we went there the mashed potatoes were like soup, the gravy was like drinking a salt shaker and the drinks are no longer free with your meal....

I hate the no free drink BS that they did. Your paying more than $10 per person you would think i could get a free damn cup of chocolate milk with my food but they had some good food. I haven't been there for years mainly cause of the price to get in was too much. have you ever eaten at a place called Grand Buffet? They got some awesome stuff

Grand Buffet......sounds familiar. Don't remember where I saw one. Golden Corral in Marysville is good too. The Tulalip Casino WAS good, seems to have gone down hill.
Watched your video. Pretty cool. Is your 400 all stock??

Honestly 79f150400M I don't even know if it is a 400, the vin says it's a 351 but i plan to say it's a 400 And yes it's stock down to the 2bbl ford carb. I don't remember what brand it is but i think it's motorcraft or something. I had been told when i bought it that it was a 4 bbl intake but turns out that was one of many lies when i got it. Oh well, that just means i get to learn to customize my own stuff

Sounds like the guy you bought it from didn't know what he had. Pretty crappy deal. Why do people have to BS their way through it??But your right. Now you can customize it to your liking. Have you read much over in the 335 series forum?? Fortunately these engines do respond well to bigger cams and an Edelbrock intake. Ask me....I know. My truck was originally a 351M. In stock trim it was pathetic. I did a RV cam swap, Eddy intake and Carter 625 and I had dudes asking me if it was a 390. That was after I schooled this guy with a Chevy shortbox braggin about his LS7 under the hood. If you have ANY Q's about your Bronco....hit me up. My name is David. I'd be happy to answer your questions or try to point you to an area we can both play with our rigs.

Alright cool David that sounds great, my name is Dylan by the way *shakes hand* Ya the guy said he basically rebuilt the top end with a 4bbl intake and remanned heads from another engine he was going to drop in it and it is clear to see the heads and intake have been taken off before but i doubt the validity of anything with it now. He said the latches he put on the outside of the truck:

And:

He said these were to keep the tailgate from rattling when he went camping. Unfortunately when i went to look at it before buying it, i asked him to roll the window down so i could look inside, and when he did he was telling me about those, and we unlatched it and i reached in and pulled the handle. Unbeknownst to me the inside latches didn't do anything and the tailgate will just pull down once those latches are released so i got screwed there as well. It really sucks but i figure, whatever i learned from the experience too look it over better. Eventually i plan to rebuild my 400(?) and want to drop a different cam in, possible go to 4bbl as long as i can still use the normal kick down equipment and don't have to alter too much. Of course this all cost monies that i don't have so it is slow going for the time being. Then as for the tailgate i am guessing i will need to replace the whole thing or try to get the latch mech and window tracks out and replace them. Then fill the holes for those ridiculous outside latches and repaint the truck with the same colors but a better job. A lot of work but i don't plan to sell it for a while, Ill buy another car if the gas is too much rather than sell it.

Yeah, I know how that goes as far as having the extra $$ to fix/upgrade things. As for fixing your tailgate, there are plenty of vendors out there for Bronco parts, but remembering your money situation.....
I kinda like that color of green, and as tacky as the latches look, the PO didn't hack it up too bad. Its fixable.
Yes, you can use your kickdown linkage as long as you get a 4BBL carb that has one, such as Edelbrocks or Carters. (which BTW, are identical). You can find 4BBL intakes for sale on Craigslist once in awhile. Keep an eye out for it. New those go for about 2 Benjamins.

Hey.....shoot me the VIN off the drivers door and I'll decode it and tell you exactly what your Bronco is suppose to have. Your camera seems to be of decent quality, shoot a pic and post it.

Yup, Your Right

H=351M and S=400. The plate riveted to the door will tell you the color, trans, and axle ratio codes.

True to that. My old '78 351 we stroked back to 400, 30 overbore, cammed it, and took off all the smog crap, and that sucker could fly even with the stock 2bbl intake and carb. Torquey as heck too

Never been to the mexican place and not old enough for a bar yet but it sounds pretty good. About 3/4 of a mile from my house next to the SuperMall is a nice mexican restaurant called LosCabos, their pretty good too.

we really like there fresh made tortillas

as far as my fave,
(like said earlier, it's easier to say what I don't like)

I love the Met Metropolitan Grill | The Best Steak in Town in downtown Seattle (it's very pricy, but awesome)
best steaks I've ever had (and I lived in Nebraska for 3 years)

in Silverdale, we go to Silver City Silver City Brewery alot
solidly good food, very good beers, etc...

in Sequim (where I am visiting now) we really like the Oak Table The Oak Table Cafe in Sequim (there's one in Kingston now too)

when in Port Angeles, we like the Blue Cheese Ribs at Blue Flame BBQ Blue Flame BBQ - Port Angeles, WA
