In Don’s defense, I tweaked the bumper after he and I met so the bumper in the pictures has been “adjusted” since he’s seen the truck. All it needed was a strategically placed bottle jack and a one foot piece of 6x6 left over from my pole barn.

As for your bumper……mine wasn’t that bad, but had the very same symptoms. I’ll bet I could bend that baby back to near perfect.

Update

Thought you all may be interested in seeing what I've accomplished with my 66 F11 to date. Not much of a change, but a step in the right direction.....I had the original steel wheels that came on the truck powder coated off-white and new Goodyear "Extra-Grip" 31x10.5x15 tires put on them. I purchased what I think (from Bill's description) are the correct Stainless Steel hubcaps for the back two wheels. Still the same old front bumper though. I'm hopefull next weekend will allow time to at least get started on that. Thanks again for everyones input and help. I added one new picture on my Photobucket account that shows the new improoved look.

Most of the pictures are the same ones as before. I only added one new picture. It's the first one (top left) when I log in. Not sure if it will be the same for you. Don't get too excited....there isn't a huge difference. I'm happy with the results though.

No, I drove my F-150 around in the snow. I have the 66 at work today though.
I had the powder coating done down in Aberdeen at a place called Advanced Powder Coating. I had the wheels sand blasted, primed, and two coats of powder applied. They turned our flawless (probably a little too good for the rest of the truck). I paid $375.00 to have all that done and delivered to my home in Olympia (I drove them down in my truck). Is that about what you guys are paying where you live?

I cleaned my desk off and seem to have mis-placed your number. I know It's here somewhere, I'm just not sure where. We should talk....I need a few more parts you'll probably have.

I repaired/replaced the floor pans and am in serch of a floor mat to finish her off. Anybody have a NOS or know where to find a close match to what came in the truck from FoMoCo? best I can tell, it needs a 04-BEIGE. Carpenters couldn't help.

I appreciate the kind words. I'm really happy with the way it turned out too. I receive a lot of compliments when I take her out.

Thanks again Squire Don for your help. I owe you.

We all owe Don, And ND Bill and the others like them. They are what makes this site as awesome as it is.

The best way to thank them is with rep points. Or just send them money

Agreed !!

I surely didn't intend to imply Squire Don was the only help I had. (He did supply me with a dandy bumper though).

I like the 15x 8 steel wheels, I have all the factory style, with more options like wide trim rings and different caps. big or small.

Hey guys I have a 66 f-100 custom cab 4x4 manuel that has the frint passenger wheel about to fall off. the bottom sticks way the hell out there and have no idea what to do about it. I would be out fixing it right now but it is burried in the snow and ice. Anyone had a similar problem? Info much apreciated. Thanks guys.
